Leon Hord - continues to have breathing, swallowing and coughing up blood issues due to the inoperable lung cancer. Hospice is wonderful in helping him with the many days of discomfort and stress that he is experiencing. Thank you for prayers!
Linda Conner - and her family need our prayers while Linda is receiving chemo and care to rid her body of the cancer that has returned in several areas. Tests thus far have shown progress is good following her chemo treatments.
Connie Goodman - had surgery for breast cancer 12 years ago and had a recent Mammogram. They found cancer in the same area. She had a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery on Monday, Dec. 28th. Since then, Connie has had several difficult issues but is now home and slowly showing improvement. There will be additional procedures so please keep Connie, her husband, Nelson, and other family members in your prayers.
Jean and Danny Hutchinson- are having medical issues. Jean had cancer sometime ago and recent lab work proved both her red and white blood counts are high. She saw her oncologist to see why this has happened. Danny is having some issues too. They are checking to see if he needs a shunt repair or replacement. Please pray for both of them as they await results and what steps will be taken.
Steve Richarson- is having gallbladder problems and if possible he wants to delay the surgery until sometime in March. Please keep Steve and Lee in your prayers.
Retirement Home - Margaret Pigg, Johnnie Barber, Doris Pate are confined to their Retirement Centers and Agnes Carriker, Boyd & Julia McWhirter and Shirley Brooks are confined to their home. They all appreciate our prayers, visits and acts of kindness and love.
John Smith- Tina Pressley and Tim Smith's dad has had many health problems for quite a while. He was able to go home instead of having to trasfer to another nursing home when he was dismissed from Hospice House in Monroe. His grandon's girlfriend will be helping with his care. Please continue your prayers for him.
Henry Ferguson- Friend of Randy Linker. He had a massive heart attack on 2-1-10. The doctors put in 2 stints and are contemplating surgery. He has been taken off the ventilator. He is showing improvement.
Bill Wallace- Doris Lowery's borther and Connie Goodman's uncle, had surgery on 2-9-10 for cancer of the colon. He also has liver problems. He is heavily sedated, reamins on the ventilator. He remains very ill and needs prayers and does his family.
Family of George Douglas- George had a massive hart attack while at work at the Cabarrus County School Bus Garage and passed away. Lynn Carpenter was an employee of his. Keep all involved in your prayers.
Bill Eudy- Mellannie Baker's brother, had surgery for cancer of the thyroid gland on 2-22-10. The surgery went well and in about 6 week will have a body scan to make sure the cancer is gone. Bill is Jeff Eudy's father. Jeff passed away recently following a major wreck over a year ago.
Bobby Bost- had survery recently for colon problems. He is still having some medical problems and needs our prayers. Bobby is in room 503 at Presby Charlotte. Remember he and his wife, Agnes during this difficult time.
