CAMP E.D.G.E. VBS 2009 takes your children to an extreme adventure camp where they Experience and Discover God Everywhere! CAMP E.D.G.E is not your typical stroll through the woods. It's an action-packed, adrenaline-filled expedition that teaches kids their strength and might come from God. Through rockin' contemporary music, larger-than-life recreation games, mind-boggling science activities, extreme sports videos, and cool, challenging crafts, you'll show your kids how to live on the E.D.G.E. in their faith.

Labor Day Retreat Support Meal - July 8 (6:00pm Wednesday)
Our Labor Day Retreat Committee is sponsoring the Wednesday night dinner/prayer meeting this week. All proceeds will go to the cost of the annual Labor Day Retreat. Penny Crusade Support Meal - July 15 (6:00pm Wednesday)
Our Women's Fellowship will be hosting the Wednesday night supper. They will be serving chicken sandwiches from Chick-fil-a (thank you Denise Boston), salads and desserts. All proceeds will go to Penny Crusade. Cost, $5 per sandwich, $7 for two sandwiches, children under 3 eat for free.
Pizza & Movie Night - July 18 (7:00pm - 10pm Saturday)
Our Women's Fellowship is inviting all women to come for a pizza and movie night. Wear your comfy clothes and join us for a night of fun, laughter, pizza and a chick flick! $2 donations will be taken up to cover the cost of the food and drinks. See you there!
GA Camp - July 19-25 (Sunday thru Saturday)
The youth will be traveling to the mountains for a week of spiritual growth and deepening friendship.
Men's Fellowship - August 1 (8:00am-9am Saturday)
All men are invited to join together at CJ's grill in Midland for a morning devotion and breakfast. It is a great way to start the weekend.
Labor Day Retreat - September 4-7 (Friday night through Sunday afternoon)
Mark your calendars for the annual Labor Day Retreat to be held in Blowing Rock, NC. The Advent Christian Campground is located in a beautiful location close to shopping, hiking, golfing, ice cream, the candy store, etc. This is always a great time for our church. Meals will be provided Sat. - Sunday lunch. See Norma Wilburn or Marie Jones for more details.
